Mumbai Corona Case: With the change of weather, once again there is an increase in the cases of corona in the country. On Wednesday (March 22), 71 cases of corona were reported in Mumbai. With the new cases, the number of active cases of corona has increased to 361 in the city. Out of these patients, 26 patients are hospitalized while 10 patients are on oxygen. It is a matter of relief that out of these 71 new patients, no symptoms of corona were seen in 66 patients. Also, this number is less than the number of corona cases (101) reported in Mumbai on Tuesday.
334 cases of corona surfaced in Maharashtra today
In the last 24 hours, 334 new cases of corona have been reported in Maharashtra, while one death has also occurred due to this infection. According to the media bulletin issued by the state government, 174 patients were discharged from the hospital today. The recovery rate from Corona in the state remains 98.16.
On the other hand, 280 new cases of corona were reported in the state on Tuesday, this number was more than double of the cases (128) reported on Monday. The state government is constantly urging people to take precautions regarding Corona. Apart from this, the testing of corona has also been intensified in the state. On Tuesday, 7,845 swab tests were done in Maharashtra.
H3N2 cases double in Maharashtra in 4 days
Along with Corona, H3N2 virus is also a cause of concern for Maharashtra. In the last five days, the number of citizens falling ill due to influenza A (H3N2 variant) is continuously increasing across Maharashtra. Between March 16 and March 20, H3N2 cases have doubled in the state as compared to the figures recorded from January 1 to March 15. So far there have been seven deaths due to influenza in the state, out of which three deaths have occurred due to H1N1 and 1 death due to H3N2.
